END OF THE YEAR IN THE GLANZ/PACKER FIFTH GRADE

End of the Year in 5th Grade Field Day and Robotics Projects            This year has passed by so, so quickly!  Your wonderful children                           learned so much and have grown by leaps and bounds. Seeing each                  one of our rising 5th graders kindly and gently help the kindergarten,                     1st, and 2nd graders participated in their field day, said so much about                about how they have matured during the year. They are truly ready to                be leaders in middle school.   To observe the plant life cycle firsthand, each student wrapped a dry bean in  wet cloth and waited for it to open up and then sprout roots and first leaves. Then, each planted the seedling in a cup filled with soil. Once they grew more leaves (due to the photosynthesis going on) flowers developed and a new generation of beans developed on some of the plants before they were taken home.
