What's New in Grade Two 2/10-2/14
What's New in Grade Two: February 10-14
This has been a busy and fun week! We began on Monday Morning participating in a Tu B'shevat Seder. We said blessings over the different types of fruits and watched as our grape juice turned from white to red. We also got to sing and dance with Shirel. Later we worked on completing our animal habitat dialogs for our play scripts. We did this with friends from both second grade classes. Today was the day we have been waiting for! We had an amazing Wax Museum. Students felt so proud to share all they have learned about their different historical figures. We hope you all have a great vacation!
Looking ahead, we will be having lots of fun after break celebrating the Hebrew month of Adar. Please take note of the following dates:
Wednesday 2/26: Crazy Hat and Hair Day
Friday 3/6: Pajama Day
Monday 3/9: Inside Out/ Backwards Clothing Day
Tuesday 3/10: Purim Costume Day
In addition, all students are being asked to bring in a box of pasta by Tuesday 3/10 to use as a grogger for the reading of the Megillah and then to be donated to a local food pantry.
