Yesterday, the Fifth Graders participated in this year's first session of Understanding our Differences and learned about Autism Spectrum Disorders.  The children did activities in which they were challenged not to use verbal communication or even hand motions or facial expressions, to learn how difficult it is for people on the spectrum to understand what others are saying.

Please ask your child about their Prehistory Project, the steps away method of solving math problems, and the lifeboat experiment.

Today was Generations Day. We all had a great time making an part project inspired by the Israeli artist, Chanoch Piven.
