Let's Be Friends, Make Amends... Learning How to Say Sorry
Hello dear Kindergarten Families,
It was great to see so many of you during our Back to School Night event. If you still have unanswered questions, please never hesitate to reach out to us!
Here are some upcoming events we want you to be aware of:
*Monday, September 24th - Erev Sukkot - No School
*Next week's Shabbat helpers will be Caleb and Talia (September 28th).
*Our first Featured Important Person is Aar (week of October 15th - 19th).
*Picture Day is October 9th. Please see the form we sent home so you'll know what to do!
Also!!! Check out our latest blog and photo album:
Here are some related questions you can ask your children to learn more about this past week:
*What is one book you read with your reading buddy?
*What are the keywords associated with the letters we learned during Fundations?
(The letters we've learned so far are t, b, f, m, and n).
*What do we have four of in our classroom? How about in your home?
*How many pennies can be traded for a nickel? How much is a penny worth?
(We could use your help in reinforcing this concept. Dimes, quarters, and half dollars will be introduced in the future.)
*What are some songs we sang as we prepared to do Tashlich?
*What was one interesting thing we saw on our nature walk?
*What is the name of that structure that reminds us of our connection to nature, is not permanent, and is often decorated with fruit?
Shabbat Shalom to all of you!
Sharon and Rachel
