Week Of October 15th

First Graders enjoyed their first Tefillah with Stephanie and Rabbi Citrin. We sang songs, chanted prayers and shared what we are grateful for.

During this week's torah portion, Lech Lecha, first graders illustrated how they keep peace at home on a bumper sticker. Take a look at your child's locker to see it!
During reading buddies this week, first graders worked with their buddy to create stories about one another.

Students are learning to trade pennies for nickels by playing Coin Grab.

First graders put their scientist hats on while participating in a three day experiment observing the dehydration process of an apple. Ask your child about comparing the water loss to dimes.
