What's New in Grade Two: 10/29-11/2
This week's blogger is Asher!
Habitats
We talked about living things and non-living things. We had a special guest, Michael Ross, a Newbridge resident come in and show us pictures of animals. We saw pictures of birds, dragonflies, butterflies, turkeys, eggs, and coyotes. My favorite picture was of the robin's eggs.
Writing
I'm writing a new story about the beach. My story is going to focus on sea glass, the ocean, and my beach house.
Reading
We just finished Greetings from Somewhere: The Mystery of the Stolen Painting. I really liked this book. My favorite character was Ella.
Math
In math we are learning how to group numbers by ones, tens, and hundreds.
Favorite Part of the Week
My favorite part of this week was when we went outside and observed things in our mini habitats outside during science.
Favorite Book
My favorite book that I read this week is called Never Girls. It's about magic fairies.
