Democracy, Geometry, and Running Science Experiments
 Glanz/Packer 5th Grade
February 8, 2019

Students learned about the Greek innovations of
democracy and trial by jury this week. Today, they responded to various quotes about democracy, made by famous people from Aristotle to Benazir Bhutto, in a "silent conversation" by writing responses to the quotes and to each other.

In Science Fair testing this week, many students are beginning to finish their experiments, and are starting to look at their data. They are learning to compute averages and create a spreadsheet to display their data accurately.

Enjoy these pictures of your young deep thinkers and scientists.
Shabbat Shalom and have a wonderful weekend.
