If You Want To Go Owling, You Have To Be Quiet- "Owl Moon"

During the past week our focus was very intently on owls.  We had already learned a great deal about these amazing creatures by the time that Mark and Marcia Wilson brought their Eyes on Owls program to Rashi.  Kindergartners were so excited to be only feet away from the six owls and one falcon that we got to meet and learn about.  Later in the week we looked inside owl pellets and showed our learning about owls in a number of ways.

The fresh snow this week also allowed us to find lots of fresh animal tracks.  We did tracking outside and indoors, as well, as you'll see when you check out our photo album!  Enjoy!
