What's New in Grade Two: 2/11-2/15

This week's blogger is Jacob! The blog this week is all about our Wax Museum. Jacob shared his thoughts on this very fun day:

Today was our Wax Museum. Once I was assigned my person, Steve Jobs, I looked at books to find the information I needed. For example, I learned that he was adopted and he was famous for creating Apple computers and iPhones. I researched and wrote my biography, first as a rough draft and then as a final draft. Today was our big day. I dressed up as Steve Jobs. I wore a black turtleneck to look like him and brought in an apple as a prop. When the parents and first graders came to see our presentations, first they had to press the “start” button on my desk. I unfroze when they hit the button and came alive. I read from my script. Some people asked me questions after I finished reading. I felt happy after I finished presenting and I was proud of myself. I was glad my parents got to see my project and all the hard work I did to prepare for it. It was a lot of fun!
