Interactive Learning in Fifth Grade

One of the most important things we can do is keep our students curious and get them out of their seats as much as possible. Students continued learning this week about perspective taking and empathy. This photo is from an activity where students journal wrote about a character of their choice from Wonder, and then acted out that character while a classmate interviewed them.

This week, we also went outside to the woods for part of a Prehistory lesson to discuss what it was like thousands of years ago, and what they needed to survive.
