Adapting to Winter
Dear Kindergarten Families,
Please see this week's photo album (and explanations) to learn more about our week. Some of the highlights have been learning about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his work with civil rights movement of the 1960s; thinking about fairness in our classroom and sharing our messages with the entire Rashi School; learning about how New England animals adapt to the cold of winter; preparing for our play!

Looking Ahead:
- Next week's Shabbat helpers will be Addie and Madison.
- Myles will be our next featured Important Person (week of February 10 - 14).
- Our Kindergarten play, Stone Soup, will take place on the morning of Thursday, January 30.
- We are hoping to have a Hibernation Day on Thursday, January 23. The students will come in pajamas and may bring blankets and flashlights so that we can turn our tables into caves and dens. PLEASE DON'T MENTION THIS TO THE KINDERGARTNERS YET. They are trying to earn it as a reward for good cooperation in the classroom.
Shabbat Shalom,
Sharon and Rachel
