Shhh...We're Hibernating.
Hello Families,
We had a great week with much practicing for our play and more learning about New England animals in winter. The Kindergartners are progressing productively with their reports about the specific New England animals they've chosen to research. They're applying much of what they've been learning through the year by drawing with realistic details, making pictures that match the words on their pages, and using spaces to separate words and uppercase letters to start sentences! It's exciting to see everyone's growth, determination and excitement.
Hibernation Day was so much fun and a different way for Kindergartners to process information! Thanks for sending in blankets and flashlights. In this week's photo album, you'll see the ways in which our Kindergartners used them to create burrows, dens, lairs and tunnels.
