Week of January 21st

Questions to ask your child about the week:

1) What is the best way for an ice cube to melt?  What were some of the things we did to the ice cube to make it melt?  (blow on it, dip it in water, fan it, put salt on it, hold it)

2) What three things is the world made of?  (solids, liquids, and gases).  What is an example of each?

3) What did you do on Hibernation Day?  How did you hibernate?

4) What snack did you have when you woke up from hibernating?

5) What were the dreams that Joseph had?  (The 11 stars and sheaves of wheat were bowing down to him). Why were Joseph's brothers angry with him about the dreams?

6) One of our Tamchui organizations is The Sunrise Movement. This organization helps the earth and it's changing climate.  What is one way you can help the earth stay healthy?

We are hibernating!

Where are the Kindergartners?

After a long winter's nap, we had waffles with strawberries!

We are learning about the organization, The Sunrise Movement,
and how they are helping with climate change.  Eighth graders came to teach us.
