Did you know that the Rashi School has been a member of The Massachusets Educational Theater Guild since 2003? The Rashi Middle School Theater Company has been participating in the State Drama Festival for over 14 years. We have had over 40 Rashi Middle School students stand and receive an All-Star Recognition Award at the festival over the years, in the areas of Acting, Lighting Design, Scenic Design, Sound Design and even 2 students as Live Musicians! There are over 40 Middle Schools around the state that participate and Rashi is one of the Host Sites for the Festival this year! The exciting part of festival is watching other Middle Schools perform and knowing that in is almostly completely student run. First Grade Social Justice Final Unit: What Do You Do With An Idea? Our final collection and examination of books this year involved looking at four very different "true" stories of individuals who had an idea and put it into action to make the world better. ***Before you read about each of these books, take the challenge of looking at each photo below that directly connects to each of the stories and THE IDEA that helped solve a problem and make the world better and brainstorm what you think those ideas might be...
