Appreciating our world
Wishing all of our Kindergarten families a restful Shabbat! We look forward to seeing you on Monday for conferences.
- Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Liptz -
Here are some highlights from our day:
- We visited the Sukkat Shalom (a shelter of peace) to look at the amazing mural and make observations. If you have a chance please take a look at this incredible space in our school. It is a great way to reflect upon the values that our Rashi community chooses to cherish.
- As we approach Rosh Hashanah, which is also known as the world's birthday, we have begun talking about ways to protect our planet After snack, we looked at items that had been disposed of to determine which ones could be recycled, rather than tossed into the trash for landfills. Kindergartners learned how to sort their refuse into either trash (black bin) or recycling (blue bin).
- Ms. Brauer joined us for our second letter, lowercase b! We practiced writing b and t on special Fundation white boards.
- We took a walk and discussed what we saw and appreciated in nature.
Shabbat Shalom!
