Week 2 is in the books!

             This week we began preparing for Rosh Hashanah. Earlier in the week, we reviewed the Rosh Hashanah basics. Today, we explored the theme of "missing the mark" and "returning" to the better path in our actions. We will continue our learning on Monday through Tashlich. Students have a homework assignment to think about a time this past year when they did something that "missed the mark." Next week, we will learn the steps of t'shuvah



             To celebrate Rosh Hashanah and the beginning of fall, we have been doing apple-themed projects. Students needed to create an apple wrecking ball to knock over marker bowling pins. Click here to see the photos. Here's a sneak peek:
