What Can You Do To Take Care Of The World?

We had a wonderful time connecting with you during Back to School Night! We are looking forward to a wonderful year of learning, growth and fun with your children!

- Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Liptz -

Highlights from Thursday:

- We continued working in our 4 rotating math centers and used the interactive white board to form the number two. We also shaded in shapes to distinguish two items out of a larger quantity. *Please note some photos are from Wednesday but we wanted to include their amazing work!*

- Ms. Angelo read the story Engineer Ari and the Rosh Hashanah Ride which introduced us to more Rosh Hashanah items, symbols and practices. The story also discusses forgiveness, self reflection and apologies. As we start a new year it's important to mend problems with friends and family and re-commit to being our best selves in 5778.

- We listed to the story Why Should I Protect Nature? and created a word wall of ways we can take care of our planet. At the tables we drew our ideas and used a combination of copying words, teacher dictation and writing on our own to express our thoughts.

- In Art we began a self portrait collage project using beautiful paper. We practiced our fine motor skills by cutting out clothes, legs, arms, faces and all of the attributes that make us...us!
