Habitats

This week we have been continuing to dive more deeply into our new science unit on habitats. After learning about different climates around the world we began to focus on the climate and habitat in New England and more specifically, around our school. We went on a nature walk to explore a few different habitats and take notes on what we noticed.

We saw a meadow, forest, and river. Below are some images of the children collecting data. In the next few weeks we will begin focusing on the Charles River habitat and the creatures that live there.
