The Aliens Are Coming!
The big day has finally arrived! So many aliens have joined us from the far reaches of space, traveling at light speed to help humans address problems on Planet Earth. While some of the aliens and their ambassadors are currently on holiday for Thanksgiving, others made sure to say hello this morning.
Mira and Josh introduced us to their two aliens friends, Bob and Poloy (respectively). Bob travelled from Neptune to make sure that all people have access to iPads. Poloy uses his many eyes, as well as his antennae and tail, to sense everything that causes pollution. With his bag in hand, he moves around the planet to clean up our garbage.
Noah and Eden introduced us to No Name and Slinky. No Name hacks into computer systems to erase all evidence of homework assignments, saving kids everywhere from having too much work. Slinky carries other extraterrestrials on his back; they are like "Robin Hoods," stealing money from the rich and giving it to the poor.
Orli, Eve, and Masha introduced us to Natural Nettie Neutralizer, Pinky Peacy, and Drip Drop. Natural Nettie Neutralizer helps humans deal with natural disasters. Pinky Peacy helps spread peace by stopping wards, and Drip Drop fixes leaky pipes under the ground.
Sam introduced us to Super Fat Super Smelly Super Stinky Super Fast Super Lucky Super Ugly Super Hero Super Best Super Big-Nosed Swordfish, who demonstrates every superpower known to man, but cannot open doors or print documents on the printer. Suri introduced us to Annabeth, who produces food for the hungry. Emily and Michael introduced us to Lily Cream and Jon, respectively. Lily Cream helps care for animals and nature, and Jon uses his invisible net to capture greenhouses.
Sophia brought us Martha, who has super sight and hearing. Nomi brought us Snobegone, who rescues people in need of snow removal.
We are so very lucky to have forged a kehillah with these helpful and kind extraterrestrials. A big shout out to all of our students, whose creativity and efforts are on full display outside of our library.
From our world to yours: Happy Thanksgiving!
