Week of 11/13-11/17
Today we'd like to share with you few fun moments from last week's activities in our class! We continued our study of the planets through another experiment, this time focused on the surface of Mars. The class wrote down daily observations of sand in a container, which has been mixed with water and intertwined with two different kinds of metals. Ask your child if they noticed any changes in the appearance of the sand. How does it connect to the information that we know about the surface of Mars?
Here is our "martian soil" on day 6:
In Jewish studies the class was very excited to participate in a reader's theater version of the story of Noah on Thursday! The class was split into 4 groups and each was given a script based on four sections of the text. Below you can see a short clip of one of the groups. Ask your child what their role was and how they prepared for their performance!
