Week of November 13th - Berks/Olshansky

Thursday, November 16th

We had a great week!

Ask your child:

1) What is an attribute?
2) ...about reading groups during Fundation Stations (don't ask this until after school Friday as we are still finishing up our reading groups!  :)
3) What happened when Eliezer got to the well?
4) What was the same and what was different about the life of Pilgrim children compared to today?

Don't ask your child:

...about the project we are making for Thanksgiving!  It's a surprise!  :)

Here are some pictures from Ezra's Important Person Activity.  His mom, dad and sister (who got permission from her teacher!) came in to read a story about Israel and find locations on the map of using stickers and flags.  Then the class built a model of the temple in Jerusalem.  Thank you Rosa, Michael and Mira for coming in for this amazing activity! The class had a wonderful time!

We read books about the life of Pilgrim children and compared them to their lives today.

We made our own Venn Diagrams to compare!
