Week of December 4th

Week of December 4th

Ask your child:

1) ...about Robotics; programming, and the song about robots - "The motor's connected to the hub, the hub is connected to the wire, the wire's connected to the computer, so move robot move!"

2) ...to program you to move like a robot.

3) What language do our robots understand?  (WeDo)

3) Who were the Maccabees in the Hanukkah story?

4) How many sons did Mattathias have?

5) When Jacob rested on his journey, what was his dream?

6) How did Laban trick Jacob into marrying Rachel's sister, Leah?  How many years did Jacob have to work in order to marry Rachel?  (14)

Thank you to Abbe, Daniel and Lexi for coming in for Emma's Important Person Activity!  They read a wonderful Hanukkah story and then the children made menorahs.  These will be on top of your child's cubby today.  It was a fabulous activity and the kids enjoyed it!
