Fifth Grade Update

Take a look at the continuing testing our young scientists are doing.

Alex's experiment  has to do with the strength of different types of house designs.
In Raquel's experiment she is testing which type of containers keeps milk fresh longest.

Ilana is testing the rate of melting ice in a variety of liquids.
Alana is testing the stretchability of goop.

Sophie, too, is testing goop, but with a different recipe.
Sam's experiment is related to Deflategate!

Today, Larry Tobin, a Rashi alum, inspired our students by describing the work he is doing to help resettle Syrian refugees as well as sending aid to Israel that the IDF brings to the Syrian border. He is truly doing Tikun Olam by working for a foundation set up by Ed and Barbara Shapiro, former Rashi parents. WOW!
