Week of February 5th

Ask your child...

1) What are the three things that the world is made of?  (Solid, liquid, gas).  What are some examples of each of them?

2) What happened when Joseph's brothers found him in the palace in Egypt?  Why did the brothers go there?

3) What happens when snow is brought inside?  What happens when you bring water outside into the freezing cold air?  There were twigs, dirt, mulch, and grass in the melted snow.  How come it didn't melt when the snow melted?

4) Why should we NOT eat snow?  :)

Thank you to Dara and David Grossman for coming in to do a great activity with our class!  They read a book about different kinds of bridges and then the children became architects and built their own bridge!

Jordan's mom, Deborah and her brother, Jacob, came in to read a story in honor of her 6th birthday. Happy birthday, Jordan!
