Week of January 29th

February 2, 2018

This week, we explored how trees help us live by providing us with the things we need.  We also learned about owls and groundhogs.  It was a great week!

Thank you to Harry's family for coming in for his Important Person Activity.  The children made "Bristlebots" and had races with them.  Thank you Melanie, Michael, Jake and Liev for coming in for this exciting activity!

Ask your child:

1) What do trees give us?
2) What is a "Bristlebot?"
3) After being thrown into a pit, sold to Egypt as a slave and becoming a prisoner, how did Joseph end up being second to the King of Egypt?
4) ....about our "Eyes on Owls" program.
5) What did you do at Newbridge today?
6) Will there be six more weeks of winter or an early spring?  How do you know?  Who is Puxatawney Phil?
7) What was your favorite part of the owl program and which was your favorite owl?

Have a wonderful weekend and Shabbat Shalom!
