Week of May 14th
Questions to ask you child:
1) What stage in the butterfly's lifecycle is your caterpillar?
2) Who is Jackie Colby and what is her job?
3) What are important parts to include when building a community?
4) How was the Middle School Musical?
5) What is a time capsule?
6) What are expenses that need to be paid for by a family?
Thank you to Rachel, Eric and Elena Pederson for coming in to help the children make their very own time capsule. It was a very meaningful and beautiful activity!
We also welcomed dentist Amy Regen, mom of Ben and wife of Joey Regen (4th grade teacher) into our classroom to teach the kids about brushing their teeth and good foods to eat to keep their teeth healthy!
In addition, we are working on putting together our Torahs. The children have worked hard all year, illustrating each parshah. Next Friday, May 25th, the Kindergartners will be parading into Kabbalat Shabbat, holding their Torahs. More on that next week!
