Week of May 7th
We have had a week of tremendous growth - and not just the children! We have caterpillars getting bigger and plants growing taller...beans sprouting...
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR CHILD ABOUT OUR WEEK:
1) What is the name of your caterpillar? What are some of its attributes?
2) What do each of these caterpillar parts do? Spinneret, spiracles, ocelli, true legs, pro legs
3) How much has your caterpillar grown?
4) Can you find examples of these 3-D shapes in your kitchen pantry or in our house? Cube, rectangular prism, cylinder, pyramid, cone
5) What did you do with the residents of NewBridge today?
Noa's parents, Elyse and Jamie, and her brother Eli, came in to our classroom for her Important Person activity. The children made butterflies out of spray paint, coffee filters and pipe cleaners. The butterflies have beautifully decorated our classroom. Thank you for coming in for this amazing activity!
