AMAZING SECOND GRADERS!
Pumpkin S.T.E.A.M. Project
Second graders were given the engineering task of helping "Farmer Joe" with a problem he was having on his farm. They were given a fixed set of materials with which they had to design and build something that would keep the pumpkins in the pumpkin patch off the ground so they would not be destroyed by bugs. Each set of partners planned, sketched, built and tested at least one design. The kids had a great time!
